The Aviary unlocks at level 90 through a quest. Similar to the Aquarium House and the Nocturnal House, the building grants you access to a whole new zoo within your zoo, chock-full of its own unique content.
In the Aviary, everything revolves around smaller bird species that you can house in a dedicated area designed just for them.
🐣New Animals in the Aviary
With the new Zoo 2: Animal Park update, several bird species are moving into your zoo, all of which can only be kept in the Aviary.

- Eurasian Golden Oriole
- Red Cardinal
- Resplendent Quetzal
- Shima Enaga
At launch, you’ll also be able to snag rare species such as the Amethyst Starling and the Kingfisher as bonus gifts with Diamond purchases.

🏘️Mixed-Species Enclosures in the Aviary
One of the standout features of the Aviary is its enclosure system. Unlike classic Zoo 2: Animal Park enclosures in the main zoo, enclosures in the Aviary are communal enclosures.
You can keep multiple bird species together and expand the enclosure flexibly. The system works similarly to the Aquarium or Terrarium, giving you plenty of freedom when designing your Aviary.

The Aviary introduces a new gameplay element: feather collecting. As to be expected in a space full of birds, feathers will appear on the paths regularly and reward you with small bonuses that help you progress in the game when you collect them.
Since only a limited number of feathers can be available at the same time, it’s worth checking back often.
