How to Heal Animals in Zoo 2 Animal Park ❤️
Start by adopting an injured, sick, or orphaned animal from the Rescue Station — your new animal shop inside the Rescue Center. Move it into the special enclosure and tend to its needs.
Rescue animals have a variety of unique care needs. Treating them is like a mini-game. Each completed task fills the health bar (you’ll see this over the animal info when you click on it). Once full, the animal is healed and ready to be transferred to the main zoo or released into the wild.
Here’s what your rescue animals may need:
- Feeding 🍼
- Playtime 🧸
- Cleaning (replaces regular enclosure cleaning) 🧼
- Medication (200 Coins or 1 Diamond) 💊
- Wound Care (250 Coins or 1 Diamond) 🩹
- Petting (optional in your zoo, required at the Rescue Center)
The healing process usually takes about a week. You can fully heal an animal instantly for 100 Diamonds. If it’s a baby, you’ll also need to pay the cost for growing it into an adult.
What Does the Vet Do at the Rescue Center? 👩⚕️
The Rescue Center comes with a new staff member who works exclusive at the Rescue Center: the Veterinarian. She’s responsible for handling advanced care needs like giving medicine or treating wounds.
With the vet on your team, you won’t need to spend Coins every time your animals need attention. Plus, she continues to care for animals even when you’re offline—making it easier to keep up!

Custom Enclosure Design: You can use all your regular toys, troughs, watering holes, and enclosure decorations in the Rescue Center. You can also customize the ground in the enclosure with the terrain editor to make the perfect habitats for your patients!
Rescue Center Buildings: The new feature includes an entrance, transport station, as well as additional space for an administrative building and visitor center. Of course, it also has the large mixed-species enclosure that forms the basis of the Rescue Center.
